The Point Communications Wins Four LACP Awards for Outstanding Writing

The Point Communications, LLC, an Atlanta-based marketing communications/PR writing firm, was recently recognized with gold, silver and bronze Spotlight Awards in the League of American Communications Professionals' (LACP) 2003 Publicity Materials Competition. In addition, The Point received a Top 100 Publicity Materials of 2003 Award, which is given to the highest-scoring entries regardless of competition class.

The 2003 Spotlight Awards Publicity Materials Competition drew an unprecedented 800+ entries that represented organizations ranging from top 10 Fortune 500 companies to community-based nonprofits. Entries were judged by LACP-affiliated communications professionals and evaluated according to a point system based on first impression, narrative and visual content quality, creativity and message clarity and relevance.
